Established in 2013, the Brookings Institution India Center is a non-profit public policy organisation based in New Delhi, India. Our work is centered on the motto, “Quality, Independence, Impact”.
As the Indian Government develops policy priorities, methods and institutions to address critical issues concerning India, Brookings India conducts in-depth, policy-relevant research that bring new solutions to the problems facing India.
Brookings India scholars work on several domains including Development and Governance, Trade and Investment, Foreign Policy, Energy and Sustainability, Digital Economy and Regulatory Issues. They work closely with Government, Industry and other stakeholders to enhance the impact of their research.
